Rambling

Dave is coming home two days early, which I've VERY happy about.

Maybe we'll go out and have dinner somewhere tomorrow night after he gets home and settled in a bit.

I hope this is the last time he has to go anywhere until we leave next summer.

In other news, since I sporadically post here, it's been so warm here. And, of course, there are no air conditioners in the houses on post. So, I've had to keep the blinds closed to keep the sun from shining in and use fans. Keeps the temp around 72-74, which isn't too bad considering there is no humidity, but it's still enough to make my cheeks feel hot. Only relief I get is sitting in front of a fan.

I'm very much looking forward to Fall.

Today, my grandmother, aunts, and uncle are sorting out my great-grandmother's belongings. I have to say, I don't envy them the task. I'm sure that it's very hard on them as memories come back with each piece. It makes me dread the time when my own parents pass on Glory.

I know that it will be hardest on Tabbi. I know I'll be most level-headed; I always am in these types of situations. Samantha, I'm not too sure. But, it will be a mess, I know that. Ugh, enough of that.

That situation I talked about earlier with my family member seems to be in the right hands. The scum responsible should be punished in some way, I hope the most severely. The family member is being treated with the up-most care and love.

I enjoyed the Olympics, but I wish NBC wasn't the network covering them. They did a terrible job covering them. There should be some way for another network to cover it. They go to commercial at the most worse times, and their interviewing athletes during the opening ceremonies is just stupid! We want to the ceremony, not the athletes! They can show the interviews at any time! The ceremony happens only once! Annoys me so bad I could spit nails!
